GOOD SHELL has two formulas for Indian skin: a cleanser that helps support the skin's moisture barrier and a serum that improves the appearance of pigmentation, uneven tone and post-acne marks.

Section One

Why Indian skin behaves differently

Deeper Indian skin tones show dark spots and uneven patches more readily than lighter skin, and those marks tend to stay visible for far longer.

A small spot, a bit of friction or a short stretch of strong sun is often enough to leave a mark. On Fitzpatrick III–V skin that mark can remain visible for months, where on lighter skin it might settle within days.

The environment adds to it. The UV index stays high across most of India year-round. Humidity drives sweat and oil, which make skin look congested. Dust and pollution settle on the surface, and hard water leaves skin feeling stripped. Each of those makes skin look duller and less even over time.

On Indian skin, comfort comes first. Even-looking tone follows.

Uneven patches

Symmetrical-looking patches across the forehead and upper cheeks, often more visible after long sun exposure. These patches tend to look deeper over time and usually need patience and daily sun protection alongside a consistent routine.

Post-acne marks

Dark marks left behind after breakouts, shaving, waxing or scratching. On deeper Indian skin tones these marks often stay visible for months after the spot itself has settled.

Tan

Sun-triggered darkening, most visible on the forehead, cheekbones, nose bridge and neck. It fades, but it comes back without daily sun protection and a comfortable, well-looked-after skin surface.

The barrier-first protocol

GOOD SHELL is a two-step system: cleanse first, then apply the serum at night.

The cleanser is made with Ceramide NP, AP and EOP and helps support the skin's moisture barrier.

Cleanse and comfort first, then correct. Use consistently for at least 8 weeks to judge results.

Section Five

Formulation standards

  • Serum percentages shown: 8% Niacinamide, 2% Alpha Arbutin and 2% Tranexamic Acid.
  • Cleanser: with Ceramide NP, AP and EOP.
  • Cleanser: pH 5-5.5 balanced.
  • Store below 30°C, away from direct sunlight.
  • For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Keep out of reach of children.
