We built what we couldn't find.

After years of trying skincare that promised everything and changed nothing, we stopped buying and started studying. Over two years, we learned formulation science and built and tested these formulas on Indian skin.

GOOD SHELL is the result: two products, honest percentages, and real tester results. Nothing we wouldn't use ourselves.

Our Story

I started GOOD SHELL because of my own skin.

For years I bought whatever the ads told me to buy. Television, YouTube, Instagram — I tried most of it. My pigmentation did not improve. My forehead and cheeks got worse, not better, and I spent a lot of money finding that out.

So I stopped buying and started reading. Two years of it. Formulation literature, ingredient concentrations, why certain ingredients work on deeper Indian skin tones and why others do nothing at all. The more I read, the clearer it became that most people are never given this information. They are given advertising instead.

GOOD SHELL is the result. Two formulas, built on what the evidence actually supports, for the pigmentation and uneven tone that come with Indian skin and Indian climate. Nothing added to make a label look impressive.

I am not building this only to sell bottles. I want people to understand their own skin well enough to judge any product, including mine.

Mission

To make effective, evidence-led skincare for deeper Indian skin tones, and to explain plainly how it works — so that people can make informed choices about what they put on their face.

What We Stand For

Formulated on Evidence

Every active is chosen for a defined role, based on published formulation literature for Fitzpatrick III–V skin.

Nothing for the Label

No ingredient is included at a token amount simply to appear on the front of the bottle.

Education First

We publish the full ingredient list and explain what each active does, so you can judge the formula yourself.
